A Blanket of Sorrows

Tonight pastor Ophir preached about impatience and anxiety...He preached about being able to leave things in the hands and care of God, of doing what we can while waiting on God to do what we cannot. He talked about the difference between patience and procrastination...

The message was trully for me...the most ridiculous part is that when pastor Ophir called people that suffered with those "ailments", I couldnt even bring myselft to go...I was glued to my chair...how sad.

I never knew such anxiety like today...Earlier in the day I went grocery shopping at the Foodmart on Main st. I saw this man with a shopping cart practically empty. The worried and sad shadow around him caught my attention. We hit the meat section at the same time....he picked different meat packages discretly checked the price and put it all back...I pretended not to see...just to feel  immense sadness later ...I wanted to help with money, but was too afraid to offend or embarass him.

"Oh God what will be of the world when the seals are open?" Oh I was wrapped in a blanket of sorrows...

The pouring on God's ears continued ....."Oh God come back quickly...why dont You? ....why didnt You yet?.....if You dont come back soon...if You dont answer the prayers of your saints.... what will be of us? Please God don't let us down. Oh hear us God, have mercy on your people and come already"

My heart got out of sinc. Later when I drove to church I was even worse, worrying about saints and sinners. REV 6:6 popped in my mind: Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart* of wheat for a day's wages,* and three quarts of barley for a day's wages,* and do not damage the oil and the wine!” Poverty, hunger and misery, I've seen them ugly faces already, but today everywhere I looked I saw it. Is it the signs?

So I can say for sure that pastor Ophir knew what was in the heart of many in his flock because when he made the call, so many people came up, except me....
