For God So Loved Our World-2

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son….He loved and loves your world. You may think: no He doesn’t love “my” world, He loves the big world with everybody in it…Yes He loves your world. You may think: no, my world, there is no way God would love…my world is too small, I don’t even have a place to call home, I have no family, my world is a bedroom that I share with a roommate.
GOD SO LOVES YOUR WORLD
Maybe like mine, your world is made of failed attempts to hold a marriage and own a home…maybe your world is filled with people that secretly laugh at you and call you an asshole behind your back, and you pretend not to know. Maybe your world is made of people that clearly resent you for whatever you have done or not done.
GOD SO LOVES YOUR WORLD
Maybe you’ll say about your world that it is a mess, something to be ashamed of; that if your world was for sale, no one would give 25 cents for it…maybe you have way more reasons to feel embarrassed about your world than proud of it…maybe your world is all about shame. Maybe your world is a halfway empty bag of weed and no money to buy some more. Maybe your world is that pain they caused you and screwed your life.
GOD SO LOVES YOUR WORLD
Maybe your world is that night you got raped and felt dirty and stupid and too ashamed to tell anyone. And if you did, who would care? They would just blame you. Maybe your world is not being able to get “it” up and being too afraid to try again. Maybe your world is a mound of lies to cover past mistakes and big failures. Maybe your world is a religion you chose to hide away your insecurities, and maybe is the religion you left, because it failed to fix your world.
GOD SO LOVES YOUR WORLD
Maybe your world is the smoky 1993 Toyota Celica you drive even though you’re 41. Maybe it is the despair of knowing that no matter how much hardcore porn you watch and how much you concentrate, you still can’t cum. Maybe your world is on the negative while still you show to others all of your assets, but the pain on your chest tells you  financial catastrophe and shame are near…
GOD SO LOVES YOUR WORLD
He has seen it all, all the mess and all the shame and all the ruin and all the financial mistakes and the impotence and your overweight and how ugly your body looks underneath your tight jeans and loose t-shirt, He has seen the cellulite, the extra-skin, the dental-bridge the empty 401K and even the bad credit. He has seen that she may leave you and that you cry alone hoping she doesnt. He has seen that you are not daddy’s or momma’s girl, in fact He has seen that nobody really gives a damn about you. He has seen your weed and crack and your begging the dealer, he has seen your fears, He has seen your hair combed in such way to hide the spot, He has seen the porn too. He has seen how “much better” your siblings are, and the neighbors next-door and your friends kids and your colleagues car…much better than all you got…But God has also seen worse. He is not shocked, or turned off, or disgusted by you,

He has seen your hot mess of a world….
….now, naked and bleeding, cold and exposed for all to see, being called names and laughed at, with a shuteye, with a crown of thorns that doesn’t allow Him to rest His head back, stuck by nails to a rough cross and asking His father why was He abandoned, the King of Glory invites you into His world.

Julia! This is an outstanding work.
Julia! Congratulations! This is more than I can describe. I am going to think of ways to get more visibility for your work.

How can Jesus love my world if it is full of sin?

Listen my dear readers...
Jesus does loves your world, He wants to make it better, He wants to be in it. He loves us every day every where we are.

Where Jesus is there is no today yesterday and tomorrow. Where Jesus is time is not a flat line measured like here. That is why Jesus can love your world, because He wants to be there and fix it.

Please think of what the Bible says: It says that God so loved the world that He gave His only son...that means that God loved the world even before Jesus entered it...that means God loves your world and is offering Jesus to enter your world so you can be saved, He loves your world now, just like God loved the world even before giving Jesus,,,,

He loves your world because He loves YOU and He loves you because He thought of and created YOU,

Like I said before He is not sickened, turned off, or disgusted by you, by your world, our worlds are an extension of us, and He loves us.

John 3:16 for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son...
To you: for God so loved your world that He is giving His only son for you to be saved, for us who are already saved He is giving His only Son to be a model the perfect model.

The Bible does not says: For God detested the world the way it was so much that He gave His only Son;

The Bible says God so loved the world even before Jesus entered it, like He loves your world.

Blessings to all

How could God love the world (your world as you say) and then ask us to be separate from it. He gave His Son for all the world who accepts Him. The key word accept. The process of being born again (earlier in the chapter) is to say that children of God are reborn of a different world, mainly a different world system. Their citizenship is in heaven, in the world but not of it.
God hates sin! The wages of sin is death. We live in a fallen sinful) world.

I think you're not being able to understand what Julia is saying. She is saying that God loves your world/life your world/people in it your world/dreams your world/struggles your world/weaknesses.
You have to understand the poetic language Julia uses so many times. I understood right away her. I agree as well. God loves our world. God loved the world that He gave His only Son.

And by the way KC accept is not the keyword, the keyword is for those that in Him believe. Believe is the keyword. You can believe in Jesus and still struggle.

RJ,

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
"Your world" is what is going to perish. He wants to saves us from this death.
Our world is to become His, and His alone.

Some of the descriptions are too offensive. Im sure there are more creative ways to make a point without vulgarism.

Don't you agree?

KC,
I have to say that some of Julias words are strong, but she is an artist. With artists that is the way they "come out" fromm the crowd. I imagine Julia as a strong woman, like her words, also as a very sensible woman like her poems. She has the profile of an artist and I just love it.
She is not a professor of Theology, but an artist expressing herself very much on her time, for this days, more for younger people rather than older.
So no KC I am forced to disagre again.

Rj:
I have to say thank you for liking what I write and you know what? I feel "understood" bacause I don't have to explain all the time that I dont mean evil, you seem to just know and accept what I write.
It actually feels amzing to have someone TRUST my intentions, and I never had that EVER.
Thank you again :)))

KC: Maybe RJ is for Romancing Julia
which is pretty cool.
Blessings to all and have a good Easter.
