In the same magazine I also found out that Ellen de Generis is a model for Covergirl make-up! Again WHAT??????????????????????????? Why would a woman that doesn’t want to be a woman be a model for anything related to women??????????? Is the world going crazy?
Yes it is. I tell you it is because continuing on, this week, all during this same week, I accepted an invitation for coffee and cake from an acquaintance. I followed the directions to what was not a cafĂ© but a bar. We managed to drink coffee and eat some pie but suddenly the couple in front of us turned weird…the girl who was probably 25 or less with a man probably 39 or more, super low-cut top, mini skirt, started looking straight in my eyes licking her lips, then she proceeded to move around in her seat in order to bring her skirt even higher….off course my table companion did not understand at all when I said that I was about to cast the devil out of her…..it was time to go home, I didn’t belong there.
I came home wondering about my daughter who is herself a young girl …is she acclimatized to this type of trash? Is that what they see when they go out? I hope not. I did not like to be in that place. There are still some of us women that expect more. More respect, more manners. We deserve it. We were created to be the crown of God’s creation, to be givers of life. Being a mom makes you a teacher. We mothers, aunts grandmothers and all us church ladies, have to teach them (young girls) their enormous value. Yes I am an independent, modern, classy and well educated woman. I deserve so much better than that! I hope that all of us, Christian ladies, can bring forth generations of women that wont allow “THE LADY” to become a species nearly extinct.

After reading your post I was sadden to hear your choice of words in describing the girl with the low cut dress. Trash. I can't think of any prositute in the bible that Jesus called such a worthless name. Trash has no use and is to be thrown out. What if the girl had a chance to read your blog about her. Would she see the love of Jesus? Would she be encouraged to be like you? I wonder if you even prayed for her? To whom much is given, much is required. The girl doesn't seem to know God. But you do and much is required. This world needs us to be separate so that they can see something different, a different way. IS NOT THIS BLOG SITE CALLED THE INVASION OF LOVE? I really enjoyed your last blog " Herod and the Pharisees". And your prayer was beautiful.
Work a big miracle inside of me Jesus that I may LOVE more today than I did yesterday. Show me a sign Jesus, when I am about to fall, so that I come back to You, and not to law or to the lack of it.
Anonymously,
Mr. G.
Dear Mr G.
I like very much the fact that you enjoy reading. Carefully examine what I wrote and you will see that what I call trash is all of the 3 scenarios (including the girl"s behavior)
Love most not be blinding. If we want to continue existing as an organized society we must call rights and wrongs. Anyone in a bar flerting with someone of the same gender raising her skirt and all, is acting trashy and most be called that way. I am a christian and I write from the christian perspective.
God created male and female. I was shocked to see a woman flerting with me(?) Also, if I was a man I would be kind of scared by her behavior. I was just too much!
What society needs is less bleeding hearts and more people that are not afraid to say the truth. Remenber how many christians have been killed for not compromising: John the Baptist is an example.
I mantain my position. I hope my daughter, her friends and all other girls are not aclimatized with that kind of trash. There are better ways to have "fun". Read carefully: I went out for a cup of coffee, not to be sexually harassed by another female.
When I go out it is my wright, unless I am in a GOGO club, to not have to see someone's private parts....
Did I pray for the girl? Honestly? NO, I didnt.
I prayed for the girls I know, that they maybe somehow able to hold their dignity in a world where oversexed women are "praised" and ladies are "boring"
Mr G. Remenber the words of Jesus: do not conform to this world.
Sincerely
Julia
